According to a consolidated report from 175 companies, the highest bonus in the city is 368.2 million VND, awarded by foreign-invested enterprises (FDI). Last year, the highest bonus was 700 million VND, granted by domestic private enterprises.
Specifically, FDI enterprises lead in both Solar New Year and Lunar New Year bonuses. In this sector, the highest Solar New Year bonus exceeds 140 million VND, while the Lunar New Year bonus reaches 368.2 million VND. However, the lowest bonus in this group ranges from 50,000 to 150,000 VND.
Domestic private enterprises rank second, with the highest Lunar New Year bonus at 281 million VND. This sector also boasts the highest average bonus in the city, at 11.3 million VND per person. The lowest bonus here is 150,000 VND.
For state-owned joint-stock companies, the disparity is significant, with the highest Lunar New Year bonus at 220 million VND, compared to just 20.4 million VND for the Solar New Year. The lowest recorded bonus is 100,000 VND.
Solely state-owned limited liability companies exhibit the most stable and least disparate bonuses. The highest Solar New Year bonus is 35 million VND, and the Lunar New Year bonus reaches 40 million VND. The lowest bonuses in this sector are notably higher than the general average, with 1.9 million VND for the Solar New Year and 5 million VND for the Lunar New Year.
Under current regulations, bonuses are determined by companies based on production results, business performance, and employee work completion. Bonus policies are publicly announced after consulting with labor representative organizations.
