Ecovacs’ innovative cleaning solutions lead the smart home appliance market in Vietnam.

The year 2025 marks a significant acceleration in Vietnam’s smart home appliance market, particularly in the cleaning device segment.

According to distributor Hop Long, Ecovacs sold nearly 70,000 units in 2025, a 67% increase from 2024, reflecting growing consumer demand for automated cleaning solutions.

Ecovacs Vietnam representatives stated that the brand expanded its product line with 8 new models in 2025, focusing on advanced technologies such as high suction power, automatic cleaning stations, AI navigation, and the Ozmo Roller mopping system.

Sales peaked in December 2025, tripling compared to the same period in 2024. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City remain the primary markets, contributing significantly to overall sales.

Alongside commercial success, Ecovacs earned recognition for its technological advancements. At the 2024 VnExpress Tech Awards, the brand won the “Outstanding Vacuum Brand” title. Additionally, one of its robot vacuum cleaners received an award at the Better Choice Awards, highlighting consumers’ preference for highly automated devices that minimize manual effort in daily cleaning.

Tineco, also part of the Ecovacs Group, saw remarkable growth in Vietnam. The brand reported a 4.5-fold increase in 2025 sales, primarily driven by the popularity of its steam-integrated cleaning devices.

Tineco’s steam technology revolutionizes cleaning efficiency worldwide.

Globally, Tineco sold over 500,000 steam-powered cleaning products. Euromonitor International data reveals that the brand has led the vacuum and floor cleaning market for three consecutive years, indicating a shift from single-function devices to integrated cleaning solutions.

Distributors attribute the success of Ecovacs and Tineco in Vietnam to a combination of advanced technology, user-centric design, and a distribution strategy tailored to local consumer habits.

Hop Long representatives noted that the smart home appliance market is expanding beyond major cities into provincial areas, where consumers are increasingly willing to invest in products that offer proven efficiency and local support services.

The period from 2025 to 2030 is expected to be transformative for the industry, as AI, IoT, and automation become integral to household devices, creating new growth opportunities for both global brands and local distributors.
