According to Healer TV, experts believe this vehicle is the production-ready version of the Palisade High Roof concept showcased at the Seoul Mobility Show. This development signals Hyundai’s readiness to transition this bold concept from the exhibition floor to dealership showrooms in the near future.

Departing from traditional MPVs or vans, the Palisade High Roof retains Hyundai’s flagship SUV architecture while refining it to prioritize rear-seat luxury and comfort. Spy shots highlight its elevated roofline, reminiscent of the Kia Carnival “Thacoroyal” variant available in Vietnam, priced at approximately VND 2.7 billion.

Exterior-wise, the most notable change is the significantly raised roof. This enhancement expands headroom, creating an airy cabin reminiscent of a premium lounge, ideal for VIP transport or upscale family use.

While the front fascia retains the next-generation Palisade’s signature styling, the rear end adopts a more upright and boxy design. This MPV-inspired aesthetic is complemented by enlarged rear windows, enhancing visibility and openness for passengers.

Although interior images remain unreleased, observers anticipate significant upgrades over the standard Palisade. Expectations include second-row captain’s chairs with power adjustments and ottoman leg rests. Premium materials like top-tier leather, luxurious wood trim, ambient lighting, and large ceiling-mounted entertainment screens are also likely.

Enhanced soundproofing is expected to deliver exceptional cabin quietness, positioning the Palisade High Roof as a compelling alternative to high-end luxury vans.

Performance-wise, the Palisade High Roof is expected to align with Hyundai’s electrification strategy, featuring an exclusive hybrid powertrain. This choice prioritizes fuel efficiency, emissions reduction, and smooth operation over high-speed performance. The hybrid system will be paired with a finely tuned automatic transmission for seamless gear changes.

The suspension is likely recalibrated for a softer ride, effectively absorbing road imperfections to ensure maximum comfort for rear passengers.
