Vice Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà has tasked the Ministry of Construction with leading a collaborative effort alongside relevant ministries, agencies, and the People’s Committees of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Their mission is to consult experts, scientists, and draw on the experiences of advanced nations in developing public transportation systems and promoting the use of eco-friendly vehicles among citizens.

The project has successfully cleared 239 hectares of land, ensuring uninterrupted construction of all planned components. An additional 25.9 hectares, which does not impact ongoing construction activities, remains pending relocation due to ongoing resettlement area completion.

The route connecting Lac Trung Street, weaving through two residential complexes to Alley 559 Kim Ngưu, is currently under accelerated construction, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion in the area.
