The Ministry of Construction has issued a directive urging the Project Management Unit 7 to accelerate the construction progress of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong section, a key component of the North-South Eastern Expressway project for the 2021-2025 period. The goal is to ensure the segment’s completion by December 19, 2025.

The People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province has officially submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Construction, requesting the establishment of an inter-sectoral working group. This initiative aims to address existing challenges, accelerate investment progress, and ensure the Quang Tri Airport is operational by the target completion date of April 30, 2026.

In the final quarter of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City is set to launch 20 major projects and complete 25 key transportation and technical infrastructure works. Among these are pivotal initiatives such as the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, Metro Line 2, and the An Phu Interchange.
