The sharp rise in raw material and operating costs has resulted in Hoa Sen Group posting a post-tax loss of VND 186 billion, a 142% decline compared to the same period last year when they recorded a profit of VND 438 billion. Despite this setback, the company has managed to surpass its annual revenue and profit targets for the financial year.

On October 31, the fuel prices witnessed a mixed bag of trends. While gasoline prices for E5RON92 and RON95-III decreased by VND 284 and VND 391 per liter, respectively, oil prices saw an increase ranging from VND 91 to VND 263 per liter, compared to the current base price.

APEC Securities has been fined by the State Securities Commission for failing to report the sale of 8.1 million API shares in 2023 on time. The company has just returned to profitability in Q3 2024, thanks to cost-cutting measures.
