On December 26, 2025, futures contracts for the VN30 and VN100 indices predominantly declined during the trading session. The VN30-Index extended its losses, accompanied by trading volumes surpassing the 20-session average, indicating persistent bearish sentiment in the market.

On December 25th, the VN-Index surged to an all-time intraday high of 1,805 points. However, selling pressure and the underperformance of key blue-chip stocks dragged the index lower. Despite the initial rally, the benchmark failed to close above the 1,800 milestone.

Last week (December 22–26, 2025), despite only one new purchase transaction being announced, investment fund activity indicated sustained demand. This resilience comes as the market continues to grapple with volatility and profit-taking pressures, with the VN-Index testing its previous peak levels.
