According to the latest data released by the Customs Authority, Vietnam imported 205,630 automobiles in 2025, with a total value of $4.7 billion. This marks an 18.6% increase in volume and a 31.1% surge in value compared to 2024. Notably, this is the first time Vietnam’s annual imports of completely built-up (CBU) vehicles have surpassed the 200,000-unit milestone, setting a new record.
