Vegetable prices in Ho Chi Minh City have dropped by approximately 20% following a recent surge, offering relief to consumers. However, fresh chili prices have skyrocketed to 160,000 VND per kilogram, defying market trends and leaving both buyers and sellers stunned.

Live pig prices across many regions nationwide have reached 61,000 VND/kg, with forecasts indicating a continued upward trend as demand surges ahead of the Lunar New Year.

In his concluding remarks at the November regular government meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated and largely agreed with the reports and heartfelt, responsible, and practical opinions of the delegates, which proposed numerous feasible and practical solutions. He tasked the Ministry of Finance and the Government Office with synthesizing and incorporating these opinions, finalizing the reports and draft resolutions from the November session for prompt issuance. Additionally, he directed them to focus on completing the draft Resolution 01 for 2026.
