On the afternoon of December 6th, the Government Office held its regular November 2025 press conference. Minister and Chairman of the Office of the Government, Trần Văn Sơn, who also serves as the Government Spokesperson, chaired the event. The conference provided updates on the socio-economic situation for November and the first 11 months of 2025.

On the morning of December 6th, the People's Committee of Can Tho City convened a conference to assess the implementation results of the 2025 economic growth scenario and outline tasks and solutions for 2026. Despite achieving a growth rate of only 7.23%, falling short of the set target, the city acknowledges this as a significant effort amidst ongoing administrative boundary adjustments and inherent challenges. These include persistent land procedure issues, industrial production constraints, and the sluggish recovery of the service sector.

After five months of implementing the two-tier local government model, significant transformations have occurred within local administrative systems. To date, nearly 4,000 officials, civil servants, and public employees have been reassigned, seconded, and deployed to commune-level positions. This strategic move has bolstered grassroots governance capacity and enhanced service quality for both citizens and businesses.
