Global gold prices experienced a significant decline during Monday’s trading session (November 17) and continued to drop today (November 18). Domestically, the prices of gold rings and gold bars have both fallen, with reductions ranging from 0.2 to 1.7 million VND per tael compared to the end of yesterday.

Global gold prices rebounded after three consecutive sessions of decline. Domestically, gold bar prices surged by 1.7 million VND per tael, while gold ring prices rose between 500,000 and 1.5 million VND per tael.

As of January 1, 2026, the lump-sum tax will be officially abolished, requiring business households to declare taxes or transition to a corporate model. The Hanoi Tax Department has provided detailed guidance addressing key concerns, including input invoice declarations and inventory management, even for goods purchased from individuals.
