The Ministry of Health has proposed a restructuring plan for public service units within the healthcare sector, aligning with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW issued by the Central Committee on streamlining organizational apparatus. Under this plan, several healthcare facilities will retain their direct management model under the Ministry, while others will be merged or transferred to local authorities and medical training institutions.

Under current regulations, the Social Insurance Agency handles the issuance, replacement, and adjustment of health insurance cards, free of charge for participants.

Following the historic flooding, Hanoi’s Director of Agriculture and Environment, Nguyen Xuan Dai, has proposed constructing a drainage system through the eroded railway line. Additionally, plans are underway to relocate 800 households outside the dyke to safer areas within, ensuring stable living conditions.
