The province of Binh Duong has undergone a significant transformation with a reduction in the number of wards and communes from 91 to 36. In a strategic move, the wards of Hoa Phu, Phu Tan, Phu My in Thu Dau Mot City, and Phu Chanh in Tan Uyen City have been merged to create a vibrant central ward named Binh Duong. This newly formed ward will be a bustling hub, with the administrative offices of the former Hoa Phu and Phu My wards serving as the operational base for Binh Duong ward's officials, set to commence operations on June 15th.
