Hanoi is currently seeking public input on the detailed 1/500 scale planning project for both banks of the Tô Lịch River. The consultation period will last for 20 days.

In alignment with the revised Master Plan for the Capital, alongside existing bridges and those under construction as of 2025—including Trần Hưng Đạo, Tứ Liên, Ngọc Hồi, and Thượng Cát—seven additional road bridges will be added within the central area (Liên Trung Bridge, Tàm Xá Bridge, An Dương Bridge, Ngọc Thụy Bridge, Cự Khối Bridge, Bát Tràng Bridge, and Khuyến Lương Bridge). This expansion will bring the total number of bridges crossing the Red River in the central urban area to 21.
