KIDO Group is seeking shareholder approval for a complete divestment from its ice cream division (KIDO Foods), aiming to resolve the ownership issues surrounding the Merino and Celano brands. Additionally, the company proposes postponing dividend payments for 2024.

At the behest of Hanoi's People's Committee, 51 industrial production facilities and 15 agency headquarters are slated for relocation outside the city center. Notably, several major enterprises occupying prime locations are included in this strategic move.

According to several associations, while the new tax law was designed to support production, business operations, and ease burdens on enterprises, in practice, certain regulations inadvertently act as barriers. This is particularly evident for unprocessed agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products—sectors that contribute tens of billions of USD annually to Vietnam’s export turnover.
