According to the Thang Long Project Management Board, the situation of residents voluntarily dismantling barbed wire fences, stealing properties such as doors of the fences, and stealing materials from the transformer stations on the Phan Thiet – Dau Giay expressway… has been going on for a long time and is very complicated. The Thang Long Project Management Board has instructed the contractors to urgently remedy the situation to ensure safety during the operation of the expressway, especially during the Lunar New Year 2024, when the density of vehicles participating in traffic increases.
The Thang Long Project Management Board has requested Dong Nai and Binh Thuan provinces to direct relevant units to disseminate information to residents not to voluntarily dismantle fences, not to enter the expressway with rudimentary vehicles and motorcycles, and to promptly prevent violations of the law, ensuring public order and safety in operation and exploitation.
The Thang Long Project Management Board has also sent a letter to the Dong Nai Provincial Police reporting the theft of electrical cables of the lighting system at the intersections, the loss of fences, and the loss of electrical wires for lighting on the Phan Thiet – Dau Giay expressway, in the area of Dong Nai.
The Phan Thiet – Dau Giay expressway is 99km long, from Binh Thuan to Dong Nai. The road has been put into operation since April 2023.
