Among them, Vietcombank is still the industry leader and far ahead of other banks in the system. According to the financial report, Vietcombank’s pre-tax profit in 2023 reached 41,244 billion VND, an increase of 10% compared to 2022, completing the business plan.
Notably, the remaining 4 banks have similar profits. Specifically, BIDV reported a pre-tax profit of 27,650 billion VND, MB achieved 26,306 billion VND, VietinBank reached 25,100 billion VND, and Agribank estimated to reach 25,400 billion VND.

VPBank’s profit in 2023 was reduced by nearly half compared to 2022, with a profit of only 10,987 billion VND.
