The verification and collection of documents conducted by the Economic Police Department of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department found that the private enterprise The Dung showed signs of unauthorized use of industrial explosives at the Tham Riem gold mine, Nam Cao commune, Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province.
According to the preliminary investigation, the Police Department determined that in 2020, the private enterprise The Dung was granted a mineral exploitation license with a term of 10 years (2020-2030) in Tham Riem, Nam Quang commune, Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province.
However, during the operation, the Police Department discovered that Dung deliberately directed workers to use unauthorized industrial explosives in large quantities, exceeding the allowable amount.
The case is currently being further investigated for a thorough clarification and strict handling in accordance with the law.
