Previously, an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Eximbank took place on February 14, 2023, which elected Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan to the 7th Board of Directors (2020-2025) with a corresponding approval rate of 125.16%.
This extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Eximbank also elected 3 additional members to the Board of Directors, including Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan, Mr. Phạm Quang Dũng, and Mr. Trần Anh Thắng. Among them, Mr. Thắng is an independent member of the Board of Directors.
Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan was appointed as the Deputy General Director of Eximbank on February 27, 2023. However, after only 2 months, she submitted her resignation letter from the position of Deputy General Director of Eximbank, effective from April 17, 2023, after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2023.
Surprisingly, after that, the Board of Directors of Eximbank reelected Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan as a member of the Board of Directors and appointed her as the Deputy General Director of Eximbank, effective from May 25, 2023. Thus, Ms. Loan returned to this position just over 1 month after resigning.
It is now known that Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan still holds the position of Deputy General Director. According to her sharing with reporters, she wants to focus her time, contribute, and dedicate more to the banking operations, aiming at the common goal with the leadership to bring Eximbank back to its original position in the financial market.
The resignation of Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan will be approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders of Eximbank in accordance with the legal regulations.
Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan was born in 1982. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Securities Joint Stock Company (SBS) and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gia Khang Investment and Trading Service Joint Stock Company.
Ms. Lê Thị Mai Loan has held the position of Permanent Chairman at Tracodi Trading & Consulting; she is also a former member of the Board of Directors at Bamboo Capital and the Permanent Deputy Chairman of BCG Land Joint Stock Company. Ms. Loan only resigned from her positions at BCG Land and Tracodi in September 2022.
Previously, on January 25, 2024, Eximbank also announced information about personnel changes. Accordingly, the Board of Directors of Eximbank appointed Mr. Trần Tấn Lộc – a member of the 7th Board of Directors, to hold the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Lộc was previously the General Director of Eximbank.
