What does the $4 billion Super Resort project in Nam Hoi An Phase 1 and 2 offer?

The Nam Hoi An Resort project phase 1+2 is invested by Nam Hoi An Development Company and advised by Truong Thanh Service and Development Joint Stock Company.

According to the environmental impact assessment report, Nam Hoi An Resort project phase 1+2 has a total land area of nearly 336 hectares, located in 3 administrative units including Duy Hai commune, Duy Nghia commune – Duy Xuyen district, and Binh Duong commune – Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province.

In which, phase 1 covers an area of about 127.26 hectares including a casino (3 floors), 2 hotels (1 hotel with 17 floors and 1 hotel with 13 floors); apartment complex, including 1 block with 16 floors and 1 block with 17 floors; 18-hole golf course, golf clubhouse (2 floors), golf training area, maintenance area and other support facilities; 2 staff accommodation blocks (12 floors), 1 management and cafeteria block (2 floors); 1 laundry, 1 multipurpose building, and tourist villas.

Phase 2, on a total area of about 208.73 hectares, will build low-rise golf resort and high-end seaside resort villas.

The project’s progress includes completing investment preparation procedures for phase 2 by the end of the first quarter of 2024; completing construction and putting into operation phase 2 by the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.

The goal of the project is to build resort villas, hotel complex, commercial and service area, entertainment area, food area, sightseeing area, conference center providing tourism services for tourists.

At the same time, organizing award-winning entertainment services including casino business for foreigners, Vietnamese residing abroad, and point redemption for Vietnamese customers at casino business locations.

The Nam Hoi An Resort project has a total area of 985.5 hectares and has been approved by the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee for detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/2000 according to Decision No. 2942 dated September 15, 2010 and has been subsequently adjusted for subdivision planning at a scale of 1/2000 three times.

By June 23, 2016, the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee approved the detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/500 for Nam Hoi An Resort phase 1-A. Accordingly, the planning area for phase 1-A is implemented on an area of 125 hectares with identified functions such as green trees, infrastructure hubs, award-winning recreational areas, apartments, golf courses, and staff housing areas.

According to the third amendment of the investment registration certificate on September 28, 2020, the project is divided into 7 phases. Specifically, phase 1 (2016 – 2020) is operating on a total area of about 127.26 hectares including a complex resort with retail and entertainment facilities, phase 2 (2020 – 2024) covers an area of about 208.73 hectares, phase 3 (2022 – 2026) covers an area of 194.46 hectares, phase 4 (2023 – 2026) covers an area of 97.18 hectares, phase 5 (2024 – 2027) covers an area of 146 hectares; phase 6 (2025 – 2028) covers 80 hectares and phase 7 (2026 – 2029) covers an area of about 131.92 hectares.

The total investment capital of the project (including component projects) is over 81 trillion VND, equivalent to 4 billion USD. Of which, the contributed capital to implement the project is over 12,589 billion VND (equivalent to nearly 617 million USD), accounting for 15.5% of the total investment capital. The project has a duration of 70 years from the date of the first investment registration certificate (December 10, 2010).
