Bringing the Essence of Vietnamese Music and International Confluence to Vietnam and the World

On the night of December 24th, with the presence of DJ Don Diablo – Top 10 in the world, the HOZO Super Fest music night affirmed its position as the most spectacular international music festival on Christmas. The organizer, Beyond Communication, collaborated with entrepreneur Michael Duong – Chairman and CEO of AsianNet Media to bring DJ Don Diablo to Vietnam.

Starting as an AsianNet TV channel broadcasting in California with over 23 million residents, aiming to contribute to creating a voice and promoting the business activities of East Asians in the United States. To this day, entrepreneur Michael Duong has successfully expanded AsiaNet into a media company focusing on entertainment, trade promotion, and Vietnam – US investment to connect famous artists to Vietnam to perform in international-scale programs and provide opportunities for Vietnamese artists to participate in international-level programs.

Michael Duong shared, “I am honored to have the trust and cooperation of Hozo Festival to bring DJ Don Diablo to Vietnam. I believe this is just the beginning to connect and bring world-class stars to Vietnam for performances and to offer Vietnamese audiences excellent world-class experiences right in their homeland.”

Michael Duong added that AsianNet is planning to bring Vietnamese artists to the international market and is also working with some artist management companies in Vietnam with collaboration plans, with the desire to promote Vietnamese culture and people.

Promoting Trade and Investment between Vietnam and the US

As a successful Vietnamese businessman in the United States, Michael Duong and his family have built a “trash empire” in the US with California Waste Solutions (CWS), ranked 37th out of the top 100 waste management companies in the United States. Moreover, he also has a successful personal career as an investor in various fields such as entertainment, investment promotion, and Vietnam – US market import-export. In addition, he also provides strategic consulting for many successful Vietnamese companies entering the US market.

With years of experience in purchasing coffee materials from Da Lat (Lam Dong) and transferring them to factories in the US for processing and selling in this market, Michael Duong appreciates Vietnam’s rich and diverse agricultural products. Vietnam is one of the leading industries that can export to the world, but it is still relatively modest at present.

With many years of experience in the business market, Michael Duong has the influence to work directly with US business associations, politicians, and companies that have a demand for importing goods from Vietnam to supply the US domestic market. He can be a direct bridge to US importers as well as relevant authorities to promote cooperation and investment quickly, helping Vietnamese businesses smoothly export agricultural products to the US in the coming years.

Harboring a Heart for the Community

In addition to business and investment activities, entrepreneur Michael Duong is also known as a man with a charitable heart, always looking towards his homeland with projects that contribute to building and developing benefits for the community. Some of his contributions include providing funds to upgrade infrastructure for Quang Son Primary School (Quang Binh), supporting the cost of building a 52m concrete road from the road to Hoa Ninh Kindergarten (Da Nang), building charity homes for disadvantaged families in Kien Giang province, providing money for poor patients at Cho Ray Hospital, and donating 10,000 quality face masks to the people of Quang Nam to implement COVID-19 prevention measures.

As society develops, people’s lives are increasingly improved and enhanced. However, somewhere in life, there are still unfortunate situations that require community support and assistance. Understanding these difficulties and shortcomings, entrepreneur Michael Duong will continue to implement other projects in various places in Vietnam to spread human values and help people have the opportunity to continue their own dreams.
