According to the plan, verification will be conducted with individuals who are obligated to declare their assets and annual income and are working at agencies or units under the control of the Provincial Inspectorate according to regulations.
The criteria for selecting individuals who are obligated to declare include: Individuals who are required to declare their assets and annual income; individuals who have not been verified for assets and income in the previous 4 consecutive years.
Except for cases currently under investigation, prosecution, or trial; individuals receiving treatment for serious illness as certified by competent medical authorities; individuals studying or working abroad for 12 months or more.
According to the plan, the number of agencies and units to be verified is 9 out of 42 agencies and units, equivalent to 21.4% of the agencies and units under the control of the Provincial Inspectorate for assets and income.
The agencies and units will verify the assets and income of officials including: Department of Construction; Department of Justice; Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Management Board of Traffic Infrastructure Projects; Vietnam – Korea Cà Mau Vocational College; Ngoc Hien Forest Company; Mui Ca Mau National Park; Cà Mau City People’s Committee and Năm Căn District People’s Committee.
The number of individuals selected for verification shall be at least 10% of the total number of individuals who are obliged to declare their assets and annual income at each verified agency and unit. The verification period is from 2021 to 2023 and the verification shall be completed within 45 working days from the date of issuing the decision to verify assets and income.
According to the Cà Mau Provincial Inspectorate, the province will use computer software to randomly and publicly select individuals to be verified, with the participation and witnessing of representatives of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
