Delegate National Assembly representatives to Mr. Tran Tuan Anh

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolves to relieve Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, a deputy of the 15th National Assembly, from his duties as a representative of the Khanh Hoa provincial delegation.

On February 5, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 972 regarding the termination of the duties of the National Assembly delegate of the XVth term.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to terminate the duties of Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, a member of the National Assembly delegation of Khanh Hoa province, electoral unit No. 01, as a delegate of the XVth term.

On January 30, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh submitted a letter requesting the termination of his duties as a delegate of the XVth term National Assembly.

On January 31, the Party Central Committee Executive Committee considered and gave opinions on the wishes of Mr. Tran Tuan Anh to resign from his positions, retire and stop working as a member of the XIIIth term Politburo, a member of the Party Central Committee Executive Committee, and Head of the Central Economic Committee.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh is a high-ranking official of the Party and the State, who has been trained fundamentally, trusted and appointed by the Party Central Committee Executive Committee and the Politburo to hold important leadership positions.

In his capacity as the Party Standing Committee Secretary, Minister of Industry and Trade for the 2016-2021 term, he has made great efforts in directing and administering the work of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, achieving important results.

However, he bears political responsibility as the head of the agency for many violations that occurred at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, where many officials and party members violated laws and were subject to criminal and disciplinary actions.

With a clear sense of responsibility to the Party and the People, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh has submitted a letter requesting the relinquishment of his assigned positions, retirement and retirement from duty.

Based on the current regulations of the Party and the State and considering the personal wishes, the Party Central Committee Executive Committee has agreed to allow Mr. Tran Tuan Anh to relinquish his position as a member of the Politburo of the Party Central Committee, a member of the Party Central Committee Executive Committee of the XIIIth term.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh was born on April 6, 1964, in Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai province. He holds a PhD in Economics, a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Affairs; advanced political theory.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh is a former member of the Politburo, former member of the Central Committee of the Party.
