The inauguration of the intersection of Provincial Road 392 with the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway.
The Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway, invested and operated by Vidifi, has provided impetus to the economic development of the provinces along its route, including Hai Duong province. The intersection connecting Provincial Road 392 with the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway in Binh Giang district is one of the gateways of Hai Duong province to Hanoi, Hai Phong port, and other economic centers. This intersection has long been planned but has not been built due to the lack of state budget resources for investment. Hai Duong province has called for investment in this project from socialized capital.
On December 24, 2021, the People’s Committee of Hai Duong province, Hoa Phat Group, and Vidifi signed an agreement to sponsor the completion of the intersection connecting Provincial Road 392 and Binh Giang district with the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway.

Hoa Phat Group is sponsoring the construction of the project with a total investment capital of 321 billion VND. The intersection includes the main items: a bridge over the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway, 215m long and 15.5m wide, an underground sewage pipe for residents, 33.2m long, and 3.6km of access roads. The starting point of the intersection is at Km9+080 of Provincial Road 392, and the end point is connected to the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway at Km39+900.
The construction of the intersection started in April 2022. After more than 1 year of construction, the project has been completed and put into operation. The use of the intersection will contribute positively to the development and economic growth of Hai Duong province and its districts such as Binh Giang and Thanh Mien.

Speaking at the intersection’s inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Duong province, Trieu The Hung, affirmed: The intersection connecting Provincial Road 392 with the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway is an important transport project connecting the western and southwestern areas of Hai Duong province with the national highway network.
The completion of the project contributes to the development of the region’s economy as well as the early formation of a specialized economic zone in Binh Giang district. Mr. Trieu The Hung also requested the Department of Transportation, other departments and agencies of the province to closely coordinate with relevant units to manage the quality and safety of the construction while expediting the planning and implementation of projects in the area to truly realize sustainable and long-term economic values for Hai Duong province.
Immediately after the ceremony, the delegates held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and inaugurated the intersection connecting Provincial Road 392 with the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway.
