Net selling foreign investors in the last trading session of Q4 2023, which stocks are in focus?

Foreign trading remained a drag as selling pressure persisted throughout the market, resulting in a significant decrease in value compared to the previous session.

After two strong sessions, the stock market continued to rise in the final session of the Quy Mao 2023 year. The green color spread especially in the banking stock group, helping the index break out and close at 1,198.53 points, up 10.05 points. In that context, foreign investors continued to be a negative point when they sold, but the value decreased significantly compared to the previous session, the total value of net selling across the market reached over 30 billion VND.

On HOSE, foreign investors net sold with a value of over 10 billion VND.

In terms of buying, the focus of net buying was VND shares with a value of 159 billion VND. Following that, CTG and DBC were net bought with a value of 103 billion VND and 56 billion VND, respectively. In addition, VPB also saw net buying of over 28 billion VND, DCM was net bought with over 24 billion VND.

On the other hand, NVL shares experienced the strongest selling pressure from foreign investors, with a value of 81 billion VND, similarly, VNM and VRE were the next two stocks net sold with values of nearly 61 billion VND and 47 billion VND, respectively.

On HNX, foreign investors net sold with a value of over 22 billion VND.

In terms of buying, IDC continued to be the strongest net bought with a value of nearly 16 billion VND. In addition, DHT also saw net buying of over 800 million VND. Moreover, foreign investors also net bought at DTD, VGS, BVS,…

On the other hand, SHS was the stock that faced the selling pressure from foreign investors with a value of over 18 billion VND, followed by CEO which was net sold nearly 7 billion VND and MBS which was net sold nearly 4 billion VND.
