The centralized wastewater treatment plant project at Gilimex industrial park has a capacity of 7,600 m3/day and night; Total investment is 130 billion VND, expected to be completed and put into operation from December 2024.
The centralized wastewater treatment plant project at Gilimex industrial park is part of the comprehensive development plan for synchronized infrastructure of Gilimex industrial park to bring a modern, green, clean, and sustainable industrial park. This is also a prerequisite for early operation of Gilimex industrial park to meet the expectation of the Party, the government, and the people of Thua Thien Hue province in socio-economic development towards industrialization and modernization as the set objectives.
The wastewater treatment plant at Gilimex industrial park is designed and applied with modern, safe technology. When completed, it will ensure the treatment of all wastewater issues of secondary investors in the industrial park according to the highest standards for industrial wastewater.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Phuong – Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue highly appreciated the efforts and determination of Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and the companionship of departments, sectors, Huong Thuy town People’s Committee, directly the Management Board of the provincial economic and industrial zone in accelerating the progress of project implementation.

At the same time, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong also requested the investor and the construction contractor to concentrate resources, closely coordinate with local authorities to organize construction, ensure progress, construction quality, labor safety, preserve the landscape of the construction site and complete the construction of the wastewater treatment plant according to the set plan.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the centralized wastewater treatment plant at Gilimex industrial park in Thua Thien Hue is the opening activity for 2024 of Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, showing the determination of Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company towards sustainable, long-term development in the chain of industrial parks under the Gilimex brand.
Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company was established in November 2019, headquartered in Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province. The company is the investor in implementing the Investment project of construction and business infrastructure of Gilimex Industrial Park with an area of 460.85 hectares, in Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province. The long-term development goal and orientation of the company is to build a chain of industrial parks in localities across the country. Up to now, the company has the investment policy to invest in two industrial parks in two provinces, namely Thua Thien Hue and Vinh Long.
