The leaders of the People’s Committee of Bai Chay ward confirmed that the information mentioned above occurred at Vua Hai San 3 Restaurant, located within the ward, and the customers’ meal took place on February 15 (which is the 6th day of the Lunar New Year).
“Currently, the authorities are verifying the information posted on social media,” said the leaders of Bai Chay ward.
In an interview with reporters, Mr. Thanh, the owner of Vua Hai San 3 Restaurant, also confirmed the incident at his restaurant.
However, Mr. Thanh affirmed: “The cost of the customers’ meal was sold at publicly listed prices at the restaurant, and there was a discussion with the customers about the food before preparing it, such as choosing a specific type of lobster, which is priced higher.”
