HOREC 2024 is a specialized trade fair showcasing prominent products and services in the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Foodservice) sector, organized by Department of International Trade Promotion – DITP, the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse Company.
So far, HOREC is expected to have over 300 exhibitors, including 212 international companies from 23 countries from Europe, Americas, and Asia. The products and services exhibited at HOREC will focus on innovations to meet the needs of modern HoReCa businesses, such as AI-powered products to enhance cooking efficiency.
The fair will include 9 segments in the HoReCa industry, including Bakery & Pastry, Coffee & Bar, Cleaning & Laundry Services, Food & Beverage, Interior & Exterior Furnishing, Commercial Kitchen, Services, Technology, Health & Care Services, with a total exhibition area of over 27,000 square meters. HOREC 2024 will highlight 6 new trends, such as touchless experience, digital transformation, energy-saving, food waste reduction, plant-based food, and sustainability.
According to Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, he shared that everything is ready for the organization of THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA 2024: “We believe that this event will create new business opportunities for HoReCa industry enterprises. So far, there has been very positive responses with over 120 Thai companies exhibiting at 270 booths. They are ready to introduce innovations, creative designs, and locally developed products to generate soft power and international marketing opportunities. We also invite experts including hotel owners, hotel managers, resort owners, restaurant or café owners, big or small enterprises, as well as chefs and food suppliers, business persons within TCC network, including provincial chambers of commerce, foreign chambers of commerce in Thailand, and trade associations to visit the event for business negotiations, trade, value creation, and long-term contribution to the country’s economic development.”
In addition, a number of notable events will take place at HOREC 2024, such as the ASEAN Barista Team Championship for barista teams, Xperiential THAIFEX – HOREC Area – a 360-degree space reflecting the latest trends and technologies in the HORECA industry, the Ultimate Thailand Housekeeping Challenge for housekeeping staff in Thailand, as well as the THAIFEX – HOREC Academy which will gather industry experts to provide knowledge through seminars, cooking demonstrations, and various interesting activities throughout the three-day event.
