The Hanoi People’s Committee has issued regulations on the management and exploitation of West Lake, allowing 10 types of services to operate, including water golf courses.
Other services in the business category include: transporting tourists by non-overnight water vehicles; cultural, sports, tourism and performing arts services; organizing traditional festivals and boat races; water music performances; hot air ballooning; parasailing.
Activities such as swimming, diving; boat sailing, canoeing, water biking, windsurfing; electric wheelchairs, bicycles, tourist cyclos on the surrounding routes of West Lake are also allowed.
