Timely and accurate information disclosure in the stock market is a fundamental responsibility of a publicly listed company towards shareholders and investors. It is also the first evaluation criterion in the annual IR voting program (IR Awards) organized by Vietstock and Financial & Life Magazine to honor listed companies with the best IR activities of the year.
Penalties for notable information disclosure violations in February 2024
In the latest month (February 2024), the State Securities Commission (SSC) imposed penalties for information disclosure violations on Investment and Construction Corporation Vina2 (HNX: VC2), Nam Long Investment Corporation (HOSE: NLG), Hoang Anh Gia Lai Corporation (HOSE: HAG), and SCG Group Construction Corporation (HNX: SCG) for not disclosing information as required by law.
SSC also imposed penalties on SCG Group Construction Corporation (HNX: SCG) and Vietjet Airline Corporation (HOSE: VJC) for incomplete information disclosure according to legal regulations and for not disclosing information as required by law. DIC Holdings Construction Corporation (HOSE: DC4) was penalized for not meeting the deadline for information disclosure as required by law.
