According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the investor of the Commercial Center project in Hiệp Hòa Ward, Biên Hòa City (Aeon Mall Biên Hòa project) has committed to start the project no later than the end of March, early April 2024.
In terms of progress, it is expected that by the fourth quarter of 2024, the project will complete all legal procedures related to investment, land, and construction. From the first quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2027, the project will carry out construction, completion, and official operation of phase 1.
Phase 2 of the project will be implemented in the first quarter of 2035 to the second quarter of 2038. The total investment capital is over 6,000 billion VND.
The Aeon Mall Biên Hòa project has a total area of nearly 12 hectares, located on Đặng Văn Trơn Street. The investor of the project is Viet Phát Group Joint Stock Company, headquartered at 198 Nguyễn Văn Linh, Tân Thuận Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Aeon Mall Biên Hòa will be a comprehensive commercial and service center including dining services, entertainment for children, and rental of counters, shelves, and fully invested retail spaces; lease and sublease of warehouses, meeting halls, and other items.
In addition, it will carry out rights to import, export, wholesale, and retail goods as regulated. Invest in the construction of technical infrastructure for three surrounding roads of the project land according to the planning and hand over them to the state for management.
In a visit and working session with the People’s Committee of Đồng Nai Province in September 2023, Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki, General Director of Aeon Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Aeon Mall Vietnam) – a member of Aeon Group Japan, said that in Vietnam, Aeon Mall currently has six operating projects and one project that has just started in Thừa Thiên Huế province. Since 2016, Aeon Mall has not opened any new projects in the southern region, so Aeon Mall wants to invest in another project in Biên Hòa City in 2023.
