Hoa Phat Group recently invited investors to visit the Hoa Phat Quat Steel Complex.
According to the invitation, investors only need to cover the cost of airfare and personal expenses, while Hoa Phat will cover the expenses for transportation from Da Nang/Chu Lai Airport, one night stay at The Harmonia Hotel, and lunch at The Harmonia Hotel.
1 week after sending out the invitation, Hoa Phat finalized the list on February 29th and the group announced that over 800 investors have registered to participate in the program, including representatives from securities companies, investment funds, and individual investors.
The number of 800 registered individuals is twice the number of shareholders attending the Annual General Meeting 2022 (418 people) and one and a half times the Annual General Meeting 2023 (508 people).
The Hoa Phat Quat Steel Complex has a designed capacity of 6 million tons/year, with a total investment capital of about 86,000 billion VND, including 3 million tons of construction steel, high-quality wire rod steel, and 3 million tons of hot-rolled coil steel per year. The Dung Quat 1 project has been completed in sync in Q1/2021.
Currently, Hoa Phat is implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex project (located adjacent to the Dung Quat 1 project) with a scale of over 280ha and a total investment capital of 85,000 billion VND. The total designed capacity of this project is 5.6 million tons of hot-rolled coil steel per year. According to the plan, the Dung Quat 2 project will be completed in Q1/2025. By the end of 2023, the project has completed 45% of the construction progress.
