The Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HoSE) has announced the first trading day of Viettel Post Corporation (Viettel Post – code VTP) shares. Accordingly, 121.78 million VTP shares will officially debut on HoSE on March 12th with a reference price of VND 65,400 per share (±20%), almost 17% lower than the closing price on UPCoM on February 29th.
Prior to transferring to HoSE, VTP shares continuously rose, reaching a new peak of VND 78,400 per share on the day of the farewell to UPCoM. From November 2023 until now, the share price has nearly doubled. The company’s market capitalization has also increased to over VND 9,500 billion, tripled compared to a year ago.

Viettel Post listed its shares on UPCoM on November 23rd, 2018 with the stock code VTP. The opening price of the first trading session of VTP was VND 68,000 per share, equivalent to a valuation of nearly VND 3,000 billion. Thus, after more than 5 years on the market, Viettel Post’s market capitalization has increased by 200% compared to the beginning.
In terms of business performance in 2023, Viettel Post achieved revenue of VND 19,732 billion, down 9% compared to 2022. However, a significant decrease in costs helped gross profit increase by 35% to nearly VND 876 billion. After deducting expenses, Viettel Post’s net profit reached over VND 380 billion, up 49% compared to 2022.
In 2024, Viettel Post set a target revenue of VND 13,847 billion, a 29% decrease compared to the actual figure of 2023, but the expected after-tax profit will slightly increase to VND 384 billion. The company aims for a 10-fold increase in revenue in the next 5 years, equivalent to a growth rate of 60-65% per year for both core activities and new fields.
