Specifically, at 9:30 AM on March 7, at VNDIRECT Securities Joint Stock Company, 90 Pasteur Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the Civil Enforcement Division of District 1 will execute the forced transfer of nearly 6.3 million shares of CCL in the securities trading account number 021C999888, opened at VNDIRECT Securities, of Mr. Trinh Suong.

Accordingly, Mr. Trinh Suong is not allowed to transfer or transfer the shares until the enforcement is completed or there is a decision from the Civil Enforcement Division of District 1.

Based on the closing price of CCL shares in the most recent session (March 4) of 9,100 dong/share, the value of the shares being transferred is approximately 57 billion dong.

Mr. Trinh Suong was born in 1967 in Soc Trang province, with a professional accounting degree. The counterfeit gasoline was sold in the provinces of Soc Trang, Hau Giang, Dong Nai, Dak Nong, Can Tho City, and Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2019, the criminal ring was dismantled by the Dak Nong Provincial Police in collaboration with the investigative units of the Ministry of Public Security. By the end of 2021, Mr. Trinh Suong was sentenced to 12 years in prison and an additional fine of 100 million dong by the Dak Nong Provincial People’s Court. On April 27, 2023, the Higher People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City reduced Mr. Suong’s sentence to 11 years, to demonstrate the humanitarian nature of the law towards the defendant who is seriously ill.

Before his arrest, Mr. Trinh Suong had served as a member of the Board of Directors of CCL (April 15, 2017 – June 6, 2019) and the owner of My Hung Petroleum Trading Company (Soc Trang province).
