Ky Son is a particularly difficult border district of Nghe An province, with ethnic minorities accounting for over 95%, of which the poverty rate is 49.68%. In 2023, the number of households with housing difficulties, in need of new construction or repair, is 2,242 households. Although the local government has made every effort and many businesses and organizations have joined hands to support, there are still many temporary and downgraded houses. Seeing the extreme hardships and shortages of the people in this area, coupled with harsh natural disasters and floods, responding to the call of Nghe An Province, Eximbank has sponsored 15 billion VND to build houses for poor households and households with difficult circumstances in Ky Son district.
