On March 16, the People’s Committee of Ninh Thuan Province announced that the Department of Finance has been tasked with organizing the auction of land use rights and assets attached to the old Tran Hung Dao Middle School and the Provincial Cultural Center.

According to the Ninh Thuan Department of Finance, the old Tran Hung Dao Middle School is located on 16-4 Street and is managed by the People’s Committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City. The land area is 8,685 square meters with a starting price of over VND 218 billion.
The Provincial Cultural Center is also located on 16-4 Street and is managed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan Province. The total starting price of this land is over VND 141 billion.
These are two “golden” land plots located in prime locations that will be auctioned in the first quarter of 2024 as part of the province’s plan to auction surplus properties to generate revenue for the budget.

In addition to these two plots of land, the Ninh Thuan Department of Finance plans to organize auctions for 12 more properties in 2024, with an expected revenue of VND 400 billion. Three other properties that have already been announced for auction are a house at 44 Nguyen Du Street, a house at 198 Thong Nhat Street, and the headquarters of the Cham Folk Art Association.
The department is currently completing the documentation for the approval of the starting prices of three properties, including the former Functional Rehabilitation Hospital, the Ninh Son District Health Center, and the Phu Nhuan Area General Clinic.
In addition, the People’s Committee of Bac Ai District and Ninh Hai District are also proposing auctions for six properties with an estimated total value of VND 30 billion.
Ninh Thuan Province has issued a plan to strive to exceed the estimated budget revenue for 2024, which is VND 4,000 billion. Of this amount, revenue from tax management is expected to be VND 3,085 billion, revenue from financial management is over VND 61 billion, and revenue from land use fees is VND 800 billion.
