At the press conference announcing the implementation of the Program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, said that the Tourism Stimulus Program in 2024 will take place from May to November 2024. The Program includes 2 stages: stage 1 “Quang Nam – Summer Emotions” from May to August 2024 and stage 2 “Golden Season of Quang Nam” from September to the end of November 2024, with many unique tourism packages with preferential price policies and quality services to serve tourists coming to Quang Nam.

The Program is coordinated by Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee with relevant agencies, units and more than 100 tourism businesses in the province to participate in attracting domestic and international tourists to Quang Nam, promote tourism business activities, contribute to achieving the targets set out in 2024 and towards developing green, effective and sustainable tourism; at the same time, promoting and advertising the image of Quang Nam green tourism.

Leaders of Quang Nam province and the Vietnam National Tourism Administration chaired the press conference.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, of the 100 businesses participating in the 2024 tourism stimulus program, 43 are participating in deep discounts, more than 50 are participating in the general program, and 15 are participating in tours, entertainment, games…

Phase 1 of the Program will introduce many new “destinations” into the stimulus program such as Cua Khe, Tra Da (Thay Binh district); O O Waterfall (Tien Phuoc district)… with 4 main product packages: free, golf, resort and sightseeing, summer camp with many great offers such as 20 – 50% discount; deep discount (up to 80%), buy 1 get 1 free, provide additional value-added services… The target customer market of the program is domestic visitors.

For international tourists, the main market group targeted by the stimulus program in phase 1 is visitors from the following countries: Spain, Australia, Singapore, Korea, India… and foreigners living in Vietnam.

Phase 2 of the Program has the theme “Golden Season of Quang Nam”, with stimulus packages that will be associated with the local cultural story so that visitors can experience Quang Nam more clearly on their journey. The target customers are tourists who love cultural tourism, the elderly, foreigners living in Vietnam, MICE guests…

Speaking at the program announcement ceremony, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, highly appreciated the impressive messages in Quang Nam’s Stimulus Program because they conveyed a very unique image of Quang Nam from a tourism perspective to invite visitors with specific, detailed preferential packages.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu also noted that localities in Quang Nam province need to pay attention to the point of view that stimulus is to pay more attention to tourists, consider the visitor experience as the center, towards the satisfaction of visitors; at the same time, increasing the value in stimulus programs, not just stimulating by reducing product prices…

In addition, many unique destinations will be included in the program, such as: visitors will be able to explore winding roads through peaceful villages of the Co Tu and Ca Dong ethnic groups or conquer majestic mountain peaks such as Que Peak – Tay Giang… Each place brings visitors its own unique and unforgettable emotions. In addition, the tour program and summer camp from 01 to 14 days for children from 07 to 18 years old will bring unique cultural experiences, with the aim of promoting personal development, education and social responsibility…
