Updated at 10:00 AM, Phu Nhuan Jewelry (PNJ) has made no adjustment to the price of SJC gold compared to yesterday afternoon, currently still at 81.8-83.8 million VND/tael.
DOJI has increased the SJC gold price by 50,000 VND for buying and 150,000 VND for selling, currently at 81.65-83.85 million VND/tael compared to yesterday afternoon’s trading session.
Mi Hong Gold Shop is keeping the SJC price at 82.2-83.5, a decrease of 100,000 VND per tael.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the SJC gold price is listed at 82.05-83.95 million VND/tael, an increase of about 200,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday afternoon. The gold price at Saigon Jewellery has also increased by 200,000 VND per tael, currently at 81.8-83.8 million VND/tael.
Similarly, the price of round gold rings has also remained unchanged, with insignificant fluctuations. Specifically, the price of round gold rings at DOJI is 75.55-77.35 million VND/tael, unchanged from yesterday afternoon. The price of this precious metal at PNJ is 74.8-76.7 million VND/tael. The price of round gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau is currently listed at 75.36-77.06 million VND/tael.

Yesterday, April 19, the State Bank issued a notice on the auction of gold bars. Accordingly, the first auction will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024.
According to the State Bank of Vietnam, the total volume of gold bars expected to be auctioned in the April 22 session is 16,800 taels. This is SJC gold bars produced by the SBV. The aforementioned gold will be auctioned in lot form with each transaction lot being 100 taels of gold.
The auction of gold bars is organized with the expectation of ensuring a balance between supply and demand in the market, and at the same time, reducing the price difference between Vietnamese and international gold.
In the world market, the gold price is currently trading at the threshold of 2,391 ounces/increasing by more than 13 USD/ounce compared to the previous trading session. The current world gold price is equivalent to more than 73.2 million VND/tael, which is about 10.8 million VND per tael lower than the SJC gold bar in Vietnam.
