Taiwan’s premier Smart Healthcare and MedTech trade show organized by TAITRA on June 20-22, 2024, at the Nangang Exhibition Center 2 (TaiNEX2). The event is the largest medical and smart healthcare exhibition in Asia, providing a comprehensive business platform where global healthcare manufacturers connect, collaborate and expand cross-border and cross-sector business opportunities.

Last year’s event, Medical Taiwan 2023, successfully hosted over 1,000 international buyers from 53 countries. Notably, over 25% of attendees were C-level executives or department heads responsible for procurement, leading to fruitful business connections for both buyers and exhibitors.

Building on the successes of previous editions, the 2024 exhibition will focus on three major themes: Supply Chain, Smart Healthcare and Holistic Healthcare, enabling companies to explore partnership opportunities across different fields.

SMART MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES GALORE

A dedicated exhibition zone will showcase innovative smart medical devices, creating a one-stop procurement platform for the medical device supply chain.

The exhibition will present cutting-edge medical devices from leading healthcare companies.

Notable product highlights include Point Robotics’ Kinguide Robotic Surgical System, Ossaware Biotech’s CUSMED connectCMF Flap Fixator, EPED Inc.’s EPROB Navigation System and Wellell’s Optima Prone – Advanced Dynamic Pressure Redistribution Surface Solution; alongside other sophisticated surgical tools and implantable medical devices.

These products showcase the strength and expertise of companies in manufacturing advanced, intelligent medical devices.

SMART SOLUTIONS FOR DIGITAL HEALTH AND HOLISTIC WELLBEING

With the rapid development of technologies and the increasing prevalence of mobile devices, digital health has seen exponential growth. Research Nester projects the global digital health market to reach an impressive USD 980 Billion by the end of 2035, growing at a CAGR of 15% from 2023 to 2035.

Businesses explored partnership opportunities in smart healthcare and medical technologies

Last year, the Future Pavilion became a highlight, serving as a space designed to bridge the gap between healthcare settings and home environments, featuring smart solutions for both, and received positive feedback from visitors; this year, the zone will continue its focus on digital health, emphasizing new products and applications of smart healthcare and holistic wellbeing driven by emerging technologies.

Specifically, dBio will showcase its patented AioT Heartbeat Detecting & Recording Smart Wearable and AIoT Smart Insole, while hpb will present smart care solutions designed for the elderly and children.

M-NOVATOR: STARTUP PITCHING GROUND

A key highlight is the return of M-novator, a dedicated area for startup exhibitors that garnered positive feedback in 2023 and is set to welcome an expanded international presence this year.

M-novator provides startups with a platform to launch their products, access pitching sessions, and foster partnerships. Participating startups will have one-on-one networking opportunities with industry experts and mentors, receiving guidance on developing business models and effective fundraising strategies. Notably, startups from around the globe have participated, including Singapore-based EYRIS, specializing in AI-powered retinal disease diagnostics, and India-based NEODOCS, offering AI-first health diagnostics and monitoring solutions.

This year’s exhibition will feature two days of pre-arranged business matchmaking meetings, connecting international buyers with industry manufacturers, providing a dedicated platform for business interactions between attendees and exhibitors from the Asia-Pacific region and emerging markets, with over 100 matchmaking meetings expected. In addition, a buyer networking reception will be held on the evening of the first day. The exhibition aims to attract both domestic and international buyers, facilitating connections between healthcare manufacturers and the global market.

A HUB FOR KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE AND NETWORKING

Over 50 forums, seminars and new product launches will be held during the exhibition, including conferences focused on the Asia-Pacific medical market. Renowned speakers from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam will be invited to share valuable insights into local healthcare industries and market trends.

Conferences, forums, and new product launches will take place during the exhibition

Additionally, the exhibition will showcase a range of cutting-edge smart healthcare solutions, including advanced software and hardware products; wearable devices and IoT-enabled home healthcare products. Brands will introduce their latest innovations, empowering healthcare manufacturers to stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements.
