On February 2nd, 2024, Honda officially unveiled the all-new Stylo 160 scooter in Indonesia. Just two months later, this premium scooter has arrived in Vietnam.
Specifically, a private motorbike shop in Ho Chi Minh City has imported the first batch of Honda Stylo 160 from Indonesia.
The Honda Stylo 160 boasts a blend of classic retro styling and modern features, powered by a 160cc engine. It has a low ground clearance of 151mm, a wheelbase of 1,275mm, and a seat height of 768mm.
Up front, the Honda Stylo 160 sports a boxy headlight design with LED technology. Below, on either side of the front apron, are LED daytime running lights and LED turn signals.
The 12-inch rims and 110/90 front and 130/80 rear tires give this model a premium and stylish look. The Honda Stylo 160 comes with a rear disc brake only on the version with single-channel ABS. Meanwhile, the CBS brake version of the bike only has a front disc brake.
At the rear, the Honda Stylo 160 is adorned with flat LED taillights. The sporty design is evident in the side panels. Not only stylish, the Honda Stylo 160 also has several convenient storage compartments. In front is a small compartment that can hold a water bottle. Below that is a covered compartment with a USB Type-A charging port for charging devices. Under the seat, there’s a 16.5-liter storage space.
Other notable features of the Honda Stylo 160 include a 5-liter fuel tank, a digital dashboard with a color display that shows battery level, fuel consumption, and a smart key with an anti-theft alarm.
Despite its fashionable appearance, the Honda Stylo 160 uses a larger engine than comparable scooters, namely the ESP+ single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, 160cc engine, which produces a maximum power of 15.1 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The Honda Stylo 160 is available in Indonesia in a total of six trendy color variants. Specifically, the ABS variant comes in Royal Green, Royal Matte White, and Royal Black Matte. The CBS variant is available in Glam Black, Glam Beige, and Glam Red.
The price of the Stylo 160 in Vietnam has not yet been officially announced. Some dealers have suggested that it will cost over 70 million VND. Many speculate that the Honda Stylo 160 will be priced around the same as the SH Mode since it is a fully imported model.
Moreover, Honda has positioned the Stylo 160 in the premium scooter segment, making its price on par with the SH Mode in Vietnam a likely scenario.
