Recently, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer Vespa has unveiled a special edition to commemorate the 140th anniversary of the Piaggio Group, dubbed the Vespa 140th of Piaggio. Notably, only 140 units of this exclusive model will be produced and sold worldwide.

Based on the Vespa 300 GTV, the Vespa 140th of Piaggio features a distinctive blue and light blue livery on its white body, reflecting the signature colors of the Italian marque. The color scheme is complemented by classic graphics and a new Vespa logo, as well as the commemorative 140-year emblem.

Furthermore, Piaggio has equipped the Vespa 140th with a single seat adorned with tone-on-tone double stitching, along with matching decorative rims.

In terms of features, the Vespa 140th boasts an LED headlight mounted low on the front fender, a circular LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity via the Vespa MIA app, a keyless ignition system, traction control, and a dual-channel ABS braking system.

Powering the scooter is Vespa’s 300cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled HPE engine, which generates 23.8 horsepower.

Piaggio has yet to release pricing information for this special edition Vespa. However, exclusive Vespa models typically command a premium price.

It’s worth noting that due to their limited production numbers, Piaggio’s commemorative scooters often fetch inflated prices on the market. For instance, the Vespa Sprint Justin Bieber has been sold for up to 200 million VND, while the Vespa 946 Christian Dior was offered for 1.6 billion VND, despite Piaggio Vietnam’s initial retail price of 700 million VND.
