He Yi, co-founder of Binance, provides an update on former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao’s situation in the US.

He Yi, co-founder of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has addressed concerns surrounding the legal status of Binance co-founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) in the United States.

The comments were made during a Binance MeetUp event held in Dubai.

Yi suggested that CZ’s current situation in the US is largely stable and that past crackdowns were somewhat anticipated. Expressing confidence in the current situation, Yi described it as the “best possible outcome” given the circumstances.

CZ is currently unable to return to his home in Dubai and remains based in the US. The former CEO is reportedly developing an educational app for children.

He Yi also clarified Binance’s stance on cryptocurrency listings during a “Binance Clubhouse” event held on April 18.

Yi stated that Binance will continue to maintain a neutral stance.
