Board Member of DHC Successfully Sells Over 2 Million Shares
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghia, Board Member of Dong Hai Ben Tre Joint Stock Company (HOSE: DHC), has sold over 2.1 million shares of DHC out of the 3 million shares he had previously registered, through negotiation or order matching, between March 20th and April 12th, 2024, in order to address financial needs.
Mr. Nghia stated that the remaining shares could not be traded due to unfavorable market conditions.
Following the transaction, Mr. Nghia’s ownership in DHC has decreased from over 10.3 million shares, representing 12.9% of the company, to over 8.2 million shares, or 10.2%.
Assuming an average price of VND 43,500 per share during the trading period, the estimated value of Mr. Nghia’s transaction is over VND 87 billion.
Shareholder of LSS Transfers Nearly 3 Million Shares?
While Ms. Le Thi Phuong Thao, the daughter of Mr. Le Trung Thanh – Vice Chairman of Lam Son Sugar Joint Stock Company (HOSE: LSS) – has cleared out the 2.98 million shares of LSS she held, representing over 4% of the company’s capital, an organization connected to Mr. Thanh, Thang Long Hanoi Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company, has purchased an equal number of shares as those sold by Ms. Thao.
Both transactions were executed through negotiation between April 5th and 15th, 2024.
After the transaction, Ms. Thao is no longer a shareholder of the Company. Instead, Thang Long Hanoi Trading and Investment has increased its ownership from 6.48% (over 4.8 million shares) to 10.48% (over 7.8 million shares).
Based on the negotiated price during the mentioned period, nearly 3 million shares of LSS were traded through negotiation, matching the number of shares sold by Ms. Thao, with a value of approximately VND 33 billion. This suggests a possible transfer of shares between Ms. Thao and Thang Long Hanoi Investment.
In terms of connections, Mr. Le Trung Thanh is the Vice Chairman of LSS and also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thang Long Hanoi Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company. Mr. Thanh personally owns over 1.76 million shares of LSS, representing 2.36% of the Company’s capital.
Foreign Shareholder Continues to Raise Ownership of VPD to Over 30%
After increasing its ownership beyond 25%, Tepco Renewable Power Singapore Pte. Ltd continued to purchase nearly 5.4 million shares of Vietnam Power Development Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VPD) on April 11th, 2024, through negotiation, with the aim of increasing its ownership ratio.
Following the transaction, Tepco Renewable Power Singapore increased its ownership in VPD to 30.05% (32.03 million shares) from 25.01% (26.66 million shares).
According to the negotiated price on April 11th, nearly 5.4 million shares of LSS were traded through negotiation, matching the number of shares acquired by the foreign shareholder, with a value of approximately VND 159 billion.
Novagroup Intends to Sell Over 4.4 Million Shares of NVL
On April 15th, Novagroup Joint Stock Company registered to sell over 4.4 million shares of No Va Land Investment Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NVL) from April 19th to 26th, 2024.
If the transaction is completed successfully, Novagroup’s ownership in NVL will decrease from 18.37% to 18.14%, equivalent to approximately 354 million shares.
This move by Novagroup comes shortly after the organization sold 74,820 shares of NVL through order matching on April 11th, 2024, to reduce its ownership to 18.37% as it stands now.
Furthermore, this registration to sell over 4.4 million shares marks the third time Novagroup has registered to sell NVL shares within April 2024. During its first transaction on April 1st, the organization sold 4.4 million shares of NVL, reducing its ownership from 18.597% to 18.371%.
