The Binh Duong Water-Environment Joint Stock Company (Biwase, stock code: BWE) has recently announced that on May 20, the company will close the list of shareholders eligible to receive stock dividends for 2023.
Accordingly, Biwase will issue over 27 million shares to pay dividends for 2023 at a ratio of 14% (shareholders who own 100 shares will receive an additional 14 new shares).
The source of capital for the issuance comes from undistributed post-tax profit as per the audited 2023 financial statements. The total capital planned for use is VND 270 billion.
After completing this issuance, Biwase’s charter capital will increase from VND 1,929 billion to over VND 2,199 billion.
Regarding business results in 2023, Biwase recorded VND 3,525 billion in net revenue, a slight increase compared to the VND 3,482 billion achieved in 2022, while post-tax profit reached nearly VND 682 billion, a decrease of 8.6%.
In 2024, Biwase plans to achieve VND 4,100 billion in revenue and a post-tax profit of at least VND 700 billion. Ending the first quarter of 2024, BWE reached VND 834 billion in revenue and VND 166 billion in post-tax profit, respectively increasing by 9.4% and 0.6% compared to the same period last year.
