Conversion of land use to implement Tan Phu Industrial Cluster Project

The Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister, Tran Hong Ha, has signed document no. 261/TTg-NN on April 27, 2024, approving the Long An Provincial People's Committee's decision to convert 43 hectares of rice-growing land for the Tan Phu Industrial Park Project in Duc Hoa District.

Long An Provincial People’s Committee is responsible for the content and data of the report, organizing the inspection and review of the current land use status to ensure the consistency of the records and the field, ensuring the rice-growing land target allocated by the Prime Minister; take full responsibility before the law, before the Prime Minister for the decision to convert the purpose of rice-growing land in accordance with the provisions of the law on land, the law on investment and other related laws; ensure economical and efficient use of land, avoiding waste and loss.

Long An Provincial People’s Committee is responsible for inspecting and supervising the separation of surface soil use in accordance with the provisions of the law; regularly inspect and resolve difficulties and problems in the process of organizing the conversion of rice-growing land for the purpose of use in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Long An Provincial People’s Committee is only allowed to decide to convert the purpose of rice-growing land when the project meets the conditions and complies with the provisions of the law.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is fully responsible for organizing the appraisal, appraisal results and proposing content to the Prime Minister to approve the conversion of rice-growing land for the implementation of the Tan Phu Industrial Cluster Project in Duc Hoa district, Long An province. , ensure compliance with regulations; monitor and guide the implementation of the above-mentioned conversion of rice-growing land in accordance with legal regulations.
