Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND 83.5 – 85.9 million/tael for buying – selling, an increase of VND 100,000/tael for selling compared to yesterday. The difference between the two buying and selling prices increased from VND 2.3 million to VND 2.4 million.
In yesterday’s session, this item also increased by VND 700,000/tael.
The price of SJC gold bars continuously sets new records.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND 83.6 – 85.8 million/tael for buying – selling.
The price of gold rings is listed at VND 73.62-75.22 million/tael for buying – selling, remaining the same as yesterday’s session.
The price of SJC gold bars fluctuates inversely with the world price. On the international market, the price of gold remains unchanged at USD 2,300/ounce.
The price of SJC gold skyrocketed after the State Bank canceled the gold bar auction for the third time after 4 rounds of bidding.
Many investors and experts believe that the starting price for the 4th time is higher than the previous two times, up to VND 82.9 million/tael. With this starting price, there were not enough units to participate and it was a boost that pushed the price of gold bars on the market to a new record high.
With the increase last week, the price of SJC gold in the market continued to widen the gap with the price of gold in the world, up to about VND 16 million/tael. This is the second week that the price of SJC gold has continuously widened the gap with the world gold price.
