Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of Thanh Hoa province inspected and encouraged the workers at the 500 kV Thanh Hoa substation in Thieu Phuc commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province. This is a part of the 500kV Line 3 project, which is a crucial electricity supply project for the region, connecting Quang Trach to Pho Noi.

The Prime Minister also visited and presented gifts to the workers, engineers, and employees at the site. He emphasized the significance of the 500kV Line 3 project in ensuring electricity supply to different regions. He urged the units involved to demonstrate high determination, make great efforts, and take decisive actions. He stressed the need for clear responsibilities, tasks, timelines, and outcomes. The prime minister also highlighted the importance of adequate and timely capital allocation by the investor and the priority of completing land clearance before starting construction.

He instructed the units to focus on anchor points and land clearance-related tasks, especially in forest areas. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of gaining the support of the local people during the construction process and advised the units to stay close to the community as strength lies in the people. This approach, according to the Prime Minister, should be adopted for future large-scale projects, learning from the experiences of this particular project.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the progress of the 500kV Thanh Hoa substation project, stating that it is a vivid demonstration of turning “nothing into something, making the impossible possible, and turning difficulties into opportunities.”

The Prime Minister also suggested involving more Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union members to support the project. Through this project, the people will better understand and be impressed by the image of the officials and workers in the electricity and construction sectors, who work day and night at the construction site.
On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the team of officials, engineers, and workers from the electricity sector across the country who have come to support this project. He encouraged them to work with the spirit of “overcoming the sun and winning against the rain” and with the attitude of “only discussing doing, not retreating” to ensure the project’s completion by June 28.
The Prime Minister also suggested that local authorities, organizations, and mass organizations regularly encourage and present local products to the officials and workers at the site. He urged the units to strive to overcome all difficulties, work in “3 shifts and 4 groups,” and make every effort to complete the project on schedule.
