Agribank Savings Interest Rates for Individual Customers
According to the latest survey in early July 2024, the deposit interest rate framework of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) for individual customers remains unchanged from the previous month, ranging from 1.6% to 4.7% per annum.
Specifically, the interest rates for 1-month and 2-month terms are both 1.6% per annum; the 3-month to 5-month term deposits offer an interest rate of 1.9% per annum; and the 6-month to 11-month term deposits have an interest rate of 3% per annum.
For longer-term deposits of 12 months to 24 months, customers will enjoy an interest rate of 4.7% per annum. This is also the highest deposit interest rate currently offered by Agribank to individual customers.
Meanwhile, non-term deposits or those using payment accounts will earn a lower interest rate of 0.2% per annum.

For corporate customers, the deposit interest rate framework at Agribank currently ranges from 1.6% to 4.2% per annum.
Specifically, the interest rate for 1-month and 2-month terms is 1.6% per annum; the 3-month to 5-month term deposits offer an interest rate of 1.9% per annum; and the 6-month to 11-month term deposits have an interest rate of 2.9% per annum.
The longer-term deposits of 12 months to 24 months offer the highest interest rate of 4.2% per annum.
For non-term deposits and payment accounts, Agribank is offering an interest rate of 0.2% per annum.

Interest rates for deposits at Agribank have further decreased in early February 2024 compared to January. Specifically, individual customers’ deposits are subjected to interest rates ranging from 1.7% to 4.9% per annum, while business customers’ deposits are subjected to interest rates ranging from 1.7% to 4.2% per annum.

According to the latest survey in early February 2024, the highest deposit interest rate at Vietcombank is 4.7% per year, applicable to individual deposits of 12 months or more with interest paid at the end of the term.
