According to Carnewschina, Chery’s upcoming plug-in hybrid SUV, the Fulwin T10, is set to be launched on July 14. Mass production of the vehicle is already underway at the Wuhu factory in China, with the 2WD variants rolling out first, followed by the 4WD version. Pricing is expected to start at around 200,000 Chinese yuan (approximately $27,500 or VND 700 million).
The Chery Fulwin T10 is a mid-to-large-sized SUV with dimensions of 4850/1930/1712 mm and a wheelbase of 2820 mm. It offers both five and six-seater configurations, along with four exterior color options: white, black, silver, and green, as well as two interior color choices: purple and green.
In terms of performance, the Fulwin T10 is equipped with a gasoline engine that produces 154 hp and 220 Nm of torque, paired with either a single or dual-motor electric powertrain. The single-motor version uses a 165 kW (221 hp) / 390 Nm electric motor, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.8 seconds. Meanwhile, the dual-motor setup features a 165 kW front motor and a 175 kW (235 hp) rear motor, resulting in a combined torque of 740 Nm, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.9 seconds.
All variants are fitted with a 34.46 kWh battery pack from CATL. The single-motor version offers a pure electric range of 210 km, while the dual-motor variant provides a slightly lower range of 200 km, but with a combined total range of 1,400 km.
Inside the cabin, the Fulwin T10 features a dual-screen setup, a D-cut steering wheel, and rectangular AC vents. The center console incorporates a rotary knob for various controls.
Other notable configurations include an AR-HUD, 256-color ambient lighting, a 14-speaker sound system, 10 airbags, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a massaging passenger seat, and electrically adjustable footrests.
In May 2024, Chery recorded a sales figure of 146,029 units, marking a 31.6% increase compared to the same period last year. Specifically, 4,448 units of the Chery Fulwin T9 and 2,350 units of the Chery Fulwin A8 were sold, bringing their cumulative sales to 12,450 units.
Chery, a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer founded in 1997 and headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui, has consistently maintained its position as China’s largest automobile exporter for 21 consecutive years since 2003.
