According to a survey by our reporters, as of July 2024, TVS dealerships are offering significant discounts on the TVS Callisto 110 scooter model to attract buyers.
Specifically, the discount offered for the TVS Callisto 110 is VND 3 million ($129), bringing the actual selling price down to VND 26.5 million ($1,140) from VND 29.5 million ($1,266). Additionally, depending on the dealership, customers may receive additional gifts such as a helmet and support for installment payments.
The TVS Callisto 110 was introduced to the Vietnamese market in late November 2023 and features a design typical of a street scooter. With dimensions of 1,834 mm in length, 678 mm in width, and 1,286 mm in height, a wheelbase of 1,275 mm, and a ground clearance of 163 mm, the scooter has a wet weight of 109 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 6 liters.
The exterior of the TVS Callisto 110 impresses with its large headlight cluster at the front. Meanwhile, the turn signals are neatly integrated into the front cowl, and the scooter also features a smoked windshield and a round main headlight, creating a unique front fascia.
The taillight of the Callisto 110 is notably square-shaped. In a unique design choice, TVS has positioned the fuel filler cap near the taillight, unlike other scooters in the market that typically have it on the floorboard or under the seat.
The Callisto 110 is equipped with an analog instrument cluster that displays essential information to the rider. To keep costs down, the scooter employs traditional halogen lighting instead of more modern and expensive options.
Other notable features include 12-inch wheels with tubeless tires, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake for safe riding on all terrains.
Powering the scooter is a 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 7.9 hp at 7,700 rpm and a peak torque of 8.8 Nm at 5,500 rpm. While this power output is slightly lower than that of the Honda Vision and Honda LEAD, it is still sufficient for urban commuting.
